Food Safety for School Nutrition Programs supports the USDA Professional Standards for School Nutrition Professionals, under the Key Area of Operations (2000), and the Training Topic of Food Safety and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) (2600).
The School Nutrition Association’s (SNA) Certificate Program aligns with the mandated USDA Professional Standards. This course has been approved by SNA as an 8 hour Core Course in Food Safety and Sanitation, which is required to meet Level 1 requirements for the SNA Certificate in School Nutrition
